CLOUD VILLAGE'S STEAM BASED CURRICULUM

At our childcare facility, infants through two-year-olds receive our hand-crafted, "Creative Curriculum" focused on five-sense learning to learn communicative sign language, colors, patterns, shapes, and letters. Toddlers through five-year-old students experience incremental learning of science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. These classrooms visit our unique learning workshops daily to receive specialized teaching and participate in hands-on projects.

CREATIVE CURRICULUM

Our infant, toddler, and two-year-old rooms primarily utilize TeachingStrategies’ program, The Creative Curriculum. This comprehensive, research-based curriculum nurtures the unique strengths, interests, and needs of our youngest students. Through small, everyday moments, teachers are able to create meaningful interactions that help young children learn to regulate their emotions and behaviors, participate in a group setting, develop secure attachments, and have confidence in their own learning.

WORKSHOPS

In addition to the Saxon Curriculum, our two-year-old and preschool students have the opportunity to participate in our Workshops, which include Music, Cooking, Science, History, Art, and Technology! In these rooms, STEM activities come to life, and children are able to have hands-on experiences that they won’t soon forget. Our workshop teachers challenge children’s curiosity and allow them to explore various subjects through experiments and sensory play.
